Customer Agreement
Effective: — DRAFT, pending legal review
1. What this agreement covers
This agreement applies when you buy something from a store hosted on Agora89 (the “Platform”). It complements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
2. Who you are buying from
Each store on Agora89 is operated by an independent seller (the “Vendor”). When you complete a purchase, the sales contract is formed between you and the Vendor — not with Agora89. The Vendor is responsible for the accuracy of listings, delivery of goods or services, and after-sales support.
3. How payment works
- Payments are processed by Stripe through the Vendor's own Stripe account. Agora89 never receives or holds your money.
- Your payment details are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy; Agora89 does not see or store your card number.
- The charge on your statement may show the Vendor's name or Stripe descriptor.
4. The Platform's role
Agora89 provides the marketplace infrastructure: store pages, checkout links, and order tracking. We are not a party to the sale, we do not take a commission from Vendors, and we make no warranty about the goods or services offered. We may suspend stores that breach our Terms of Service.
5. Refunds, cancellations, and disputes
- Refund requests go first to the Vendor, using the support contact on their store page. Our Refund Policy describes the baseline you can expect; Vendors may offer more generous terms.
- If you cannot resolve an issue with the Vendor, you may open a dispute with Stripe or your card issuer. Disputes are decided between you, the Vendor, and the payment provider.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and national law (including withdrawal rights for distance sales, where applicable) are not affected by this agreement.
6. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the law of . Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain applicable. Competent court: , unless consumer law provides otherwise.
