14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU) gives consumers a 14-day withdrawal right on distance contracts for digital services. Because Agora89 is delivered immediately on purchase, we ask you at checkout to acknowledge that (a) the service will begin right away and (b) you therefore lose the withdrawal right once delivery starts. This is the standard Stripe checkout consent flow.
If you do not want to waive: do not check the consent box, contact us within 14 days of purchase at , and we will refund you. Your access during that period will be reversed.
Cancelling a subscription
Cancel anytime from Manage subscription or through the Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. You keep full access until the period ends.
Refund cases we do honour
- Duplicate charges — refunded in full within 7 working days.
- Charges after cancellation — if you cancelled before the renewal and we still charged you, refunded in full.
- Multi-day outage — at our discretion, a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.
- Unauthorised charge — if you spot a charge you did not make, email us immediately. We will investigate with Stripe and reverse it if confirmed unauthorised.
Refund cases we do not usually honour
- Change of mind after the withdrawal right was waived.
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal (cancel now and access runs to the end of the current period).
- Two-week pass refunds after the pass has been activated.
- Content you disagree with that does not violate our Terms.
How to request a refund
Email with the account email, the approximate charge date, and a short reason. We aim to respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
Marketplace purchases
Items bought from vendors on the marketplace are contracts between you and the vendor. Direct refund requests to the vendor first. We will step in only if the vendor is unreachable or acts in bad faith, and our role is limited to the technical operation of the platform.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank — most issues are solved faster by email than by dispute. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may lead to account suspension pending resolution.
